Boekding is built to help kids enjoy reading — not to sell them anything. Here is how that works and what you can do as a parent.

Why you can trust Boekding

No ads. Nowhere, ever — not even "kid-friendly" ads.
No data collected or sold. No tracking, no profiles, no third-party analytics.
No email address needed. An account is a self-chosen name with a password, nothing more.
No pressure to buy. Everything in the app is free; there is nothing your child can purchase.

Following along with your child

With your own (free) account you can follow along on the parent page in the app: which books your child reads, how many pages, and how many reading minutes.

Your child creates a link code in the app (Profile → Parents).
You enter that code on the parent page. The code works for 15 minutes, once.
Following along is read-only: you cannot change anything about your child's books.
Your child always sees who is following along and can stop it at any time.

Forgot a password?

Accounts deliberately have no email address, so a classic "forgot password" email does not exist. If you are linked as a parent, you can set a new password for your child on the parent page. The books on your child's device stay right where they are.

Tip: link your account right when creating your child's account — that way help with a forgotten password is arranged in advance.
