What we never do
Show ads — from anyone, in any form.
Sell data or share it with third parties.
No tracking, no ad profiles, no third-party analytics.
Ask for an email address or any personal data we do not need.
What we do store
Your account: a self-chosen username and an encrypted password.
Nothing more.
Your book data: your bookshelves, reading sessions, and ratings. They
live on your own device and sync to your own account, so you can use multiple devices.
Family links: if your child lets a parent follow along, we store which
accounts are linked. The link is read-only, visible to the child, and the child can
stop it.
Your data stays yours
You can always export all your data as a file — even without internet or login.
Book covers and search results come from public sources (Open Library, Google Books).
